and so, the last three days had been fabulous.

life in melbourne is preety much back in order.

apartment is spanking clean, laundry is done, sheets are fresh.

met up with research proj supervisors, chatted, planned and a whole load of work awaits.

exciting news. gold coast conference come end august. yours truely is presentin her work. yoks. nervous but definitely gonna be great exposure for me. more work and writing to be done! mee will be there as well. roping in bani and housemate to come along for hols. mid-sem break for us then anyways (mee & i are extendin our trip haa). goin to be awesome :)

as much as i miss home, it feels good to be back. seeing everyone, the independence with time a student has, satc at night, housemate's cookin, eating out, coffee-ing, my double bed, soon to have dinner parties, chillin, poker nights etc. it's a whole different life here...and i know i will miss it when it is time to leave.

oh wells.

first home-cooked dinner by the housemate. interestin colour eh? white against red. creamy cheese mixed pasta on beetroot sauce. yum. i'm building my lill recipe book for future references :)

first coffee and muffin puffin of semester at mr tulk this afternoon. tonight's dinner at rococco with housemate, mee and oliver rocked.

that's melbourne for me, so far :)

After 7..

hours, 2 movies, 2 episodes of house and a lil eye wink, here i am back in melbourne again where the toilet bowl seat is always ice cold and gives me a shock everytime i sit. freakin 4 degrees now! gawd.

was good to see the housemate again and he's still as geeky as ever. as i crawled into my warm bed to catch a nap before the 4.30pm class, he was finishing up an assignment and headin for the mornin tutorial class at 9.30am, though he didnt sleep the entire night like me (we both arrived at wee hours in melb, him a couple of hours before me). haa. both of us are nursing our sad lill hearts. we both didn't want to head back here :(

missin singapore and the peeps already. 4 odd months to go before graduation. 4 odd months of torture for the housemate from me. 4 odd months or more before singapore again. time should fly by (crosses fingers!) since i'm expecting a really busy last semester. thesis to write!!!! yoks.

right, time to go get ready for class. headin to good ol' tulk first for late lunch before class.

we missed you georgie & gj! wished you guys were here!

and so, everyone's embarking on a new phase in their lives..the years have gone by and we have all grown. however, no time seems to have gone by us as we gathered, no matter we far apart we have been or how long we have last seen each other.

we talk, we laugh, we whine, we share. everything under the sun. and this is what friendship is all about :) for that, i feel blessed for having you guys and girls.

okays, singapore has been a blast. just 1.5 weeks left before melbourne :( totally dun wanna head back nowwwwww. hrmph.

anyhows, some updates...internship at cerebos has been going well. my supervisor is fantastic and really niceee. am learning about the industry and having a clearer idea as to what i wanna do when i'm done at melb.

haven't been taking much pictures (sorry gj!)..too lazy haha. meeting everyone has been great :) lovin it!
