There goes the weekend again

Weekend came and gone again. We are so becoming permanent residents of the library..we have been there everyday of the week!!??!! How geeky can we get haha. Well, apart from the usual boring library routine, here's what i have been up to:

Spiga @ Melbourne Central with Claudio on Saturday. Our usual chips and wine chill session. We decided to spoil ourselves with a pizza this time round as well haha. He got himself a steal from General Pants, en route to Spiga, 2 shirts (in his fav greyish blue colours again!) for 30 bucks (buy one get one free). Good deal i would say! We had a pretty interesting conversation over pizza and chips that evening. He was musing about the fact how bacteria, in a way, act as a selective agent for mankind and maybe we shouldn't be trying to suppress/eradicate them because indirecty, we are making ourselves weaker. The weak should die. Survival of the strongest! We went on to talk about all that hype about the Avian Flu when only a no. of people were affected in the world while thousands are dying from Ebola and no one gives a hoot. How true. It's strange how this world works.

Had the usual Saturday night out with the housemate and gang as well. Was a blast! Partying pics will be up much later. I'm gonna get a cd with all our partying pics haha cause i don't ever bring my camera there.

Max Brennar @ QV with the girls. Sunday teabreak :) 2 Babkas, 1 waffle and 3 potful of melted chocolate = sinful satisfaction *rubs tummy* Haha. We went to Singapore Chomp Chomp on Friday as well and i ordered laksa, nasi lemak and chee kway for myself and Bani while Meelin had dumpling soup. Ahhh...i miss Singapore food so much! Hokkien mee, chicken rice, cha kway teow, laksa, chilli crab, baby squid, kidney soup and the list goes on and on...and mummy's cooking!!!!!! :( Anyway glad u like the food girls! Will be a whole lot better when u all visit Singapore! :D

Ellen came over for dinner earlier as well and we had dumplings and korean kimchi noodles:) I'm frightfully full now. And it is time to work on my assignment and presentation for tomorrow again. Bleagh.

Peace out.

P.S. Happy Mothers' Day Mummy! Love ya!

my lovely mum :)
